My Dad’s Chips

My Dad’s Chips is a small American brand built around dark russet potatoes cooked in a way that actually lets the potato speak for itself — oily, salty, intensely potato-forward. The kind of chip that makes you realize how seldom the taste of fresh potatoes come through in other brands.

Crumbland Favorites

Original Flavor (9.3)

A very good, salty and oily classic potato chip with a strong potato flavor. Like a light crunch kettle-cooked chip. Tastes just like Five Guys fries. One of the best plain chips I’ve had.

Jalapeño Sriracha (9.1)

Really good stuff. Pairs the spicy acidity of jalapeño with those great dark russet-tasting oily chips. Not getting much sriracha, but the chip is thin with a really good smoky natural taste.

French Onion (8.8)

Small, greasy, and salty with a pretty mild French onion flavor. Really strong chip but a bit too salty for me. The potato taste is great — the seasoning just needs to keep up.

Salt & Balsamic Vinegar (7.8)

One of the lightest flavored salt and vinegar chips I’ve had — and that’s a good thing. The chip itself is so good the flavor doesn’t have to do much. I don’t love the balsamic choice, but it works for the category.
