Founded in 2003 on organic, non-GMO ingredients, Late July is one of the few better-for-you chip brands that actually tastes like it. The tortilla chip lineup is the standout: thin, crispy, good crunch, with flavors that genuinely compete with Doritos. The Mexican Street Corn is one of the best tortilla chips I’ve had from any brand.

Mexican Street Corn (9.3)
Doritos-like tortilla chips with a slightly harder crunch and killer flavor. Starts kinda plain then a sweet rush of chili and mayo hits. Nice little spice. One of the best tortilla chips going.
Jalapeño Lime (9.0)
Like a spicy Cool Ranch Doritos. Same texture, crunch, and size as Doritos but a more intense, flavorful taste. Really satisfying chip.
Sea Salt & Lime (9.0)
Thin, crispy tortilla chip that lets you take down a handful at a time. Strong lime flavor blends well with the sea salt. Really good flavor combo.
Blue Corn (8.9)
Nice flavorful blue corn tortilla chips that taste just like eating a blue corn tortilla. Light salt but just enough to keep them interesting. Tastes fresh. A little oily with a good thin crunch.
Garden Ranch (8.7)
Like a ranchier Cool Ranch Doritos with less spice, sodium, and crunch. Really solid but not quite Cool Ranch. Still one of the better ranch tortilla chips out there.
Nacho Cheese (7.8)
Nearly identical to Doritos Nacho Cheese with less seasoning and salt, a harder crunch, and a kinda weird aftertaste.
Smoked BBQ (6.9)
The first Late July chip I’m not into. The smoky kick has a weird taste I can’t quite place and the BBQ is nearly nonexistent. Still a good chip outside of flavor — just not into the seasoning.
